Scrumptious Sausage and Egg Skillet
Ingredients:
- 2 sausage links, chopped (that’s one long sausage cut it in half= makes 2)
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 jalapeño chile, chopped
- 6 eggs
- 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preparation: Begin by chopping the sausage links into small pieces. No need to add oil to the skillet; the sausage will produce oil as it cooks.
- Cooking the Sausage: Place the chopped sausage in a skillet over medium heat and cook until it begins to brown and release its oils.
- Adding Vegetables: Add the chopped onion and jalapeño to the skillet. Sauté until the onions are translucent and the jalapeños are softened, soaking up the savory sausage flavors.
- Preparing the Eggs: In a separate bowl, crack the 6 eggs and whisk them together with the chicken bouillon, salt, and pepper.
- Combining: Pour the egg mixture into the skillet with the sausage and vegetables. Stir continuously until the eggs are fully cooked and scrambled to your preferred consistency.
- Serving: Once everything is well combined and cooked, remove from heat. Serve immediately and enjoy a hearty, flavorful breakfast!
